The
MPA Program has had a great impact on
the success of my career.
During my study in the program, I gained
a wealth of knowledge on
budgeting, ethics, organizational behavior,
policy, politics and theory.
This knowledge and skills acquired during
my internships with Beacons & Bridges,
Delta Center for Economic Development and
United Way of Greater
Jonesboro prepared me to become a successful
public administrator.

"I
believe there are two aspects of the
Arkansas
State University MPA
program that positively separate it from
other graduate programs: the
real-life challenges and opportunities
we are offered and the
outstanding faculty. The opportunities
prepare us to be better public
servants, while the faculty are extremely
supportive and caring - making
the experience more personal, more rewarding
and completely worth
while."

"The
MPA education at ASU prepared me for
a
job in public service, but
the internship opened the door to my
career."
