We
welcome inquiries concerning our 30-hour
Master of Arts in Political Science degree
program, which we think offers a solid,
general background in political science
and its four main subfields--American
Politics, Comparative Politics, International
Relations,
and Political Theory, plus a minor in
Public Administration. Our general goals
in
this program are:
| • |
To provide a broad
spectrum of educational programs
and
services through the concentration of resources on those activities having the
greatest impact for public good
and making these activities accessible
throughout the state, nation and
world
|
| • |
To increase service learning
and outreach by bringing students'
research skills to community service
agencies
|
| • |
To disseminate new knowledge
by promoting scientific
discoveries via integrating research into the curriculum
|
| • |
To implement discovery-based
learning experiences that focus
on
learning how to learn |
