BIOGRAPHY
William McLean, Associate Professor of Political Science and Public Administration, is a native Arkansan. He spent his formative years in the having grown up in the Delta town of Keiser. Prior to returning to his alma mater, he taught at the University of Northern Iowa. He has published widely in the areas service delivery, public opinion, southern politics and agricultural biotechnology. His works have appeared in such places as Public Administration Review, Public Opinion Quarterly, The American Review of Politics and Review of Policy Research. His current research projects focus on a number of issues including: environmental racism, gender stereotypes and regional religious differences. In addition to his duties as M.P. A. Director, Dr. McLean also serves as the Director of the Center for Social Research, a public opinion lab dedicated to the public interest.
